Before I accept a patient, I like to have a consult, either on the phone or in person.
I run a business -- the business of assisting you in getting your body mind back on track. In order to do that, there needs to be the sense that we are working together in a partnership.
If you hop from one practitioner to another and whose pattern it is to see several different practitioners at once who often contradict each other, then my practice is not for you.
My ideal patient is one who has on board a holistic physician and if needed, a body worker such as a massage therapist or chiropractor. I'm not a big fan of the snap crackle pop style of chiropractor as that method in itself can cause whiplash, but a chiropractor who uses physical therapy and the activator is fine.
If you are a health care practitioner who knows more than me or who wants to gain information and order supplements at your cost, then I am not the one for you.
If you want to be the leader, then again, I'm not the one to help you. Someone has to lead. I ask patients to commit to ten sessions. I don't accept insurance because I don't want a third party who doesn't know you influencing the treatment plan.
I bring many modalities to the table and I use targeted techniques to determine what your body is calling for. For those who simply don't like needles, I offer a state of the art needle-free acupuncture that works just great. I keep supplements to a minimum but when I do suggest them, they need to be taken as directed.
When you are my patient, we tweak as we go. I don't charge for brief emails and short phone calls. At the beginning, I want to see patients once a week. I want to hear how you're doing. My goal is to get you well as quickly as possible, not to keep you coming back forever.
