And indeed, the finest in Egypt, namely, has the highest potency.

Also recommended for lung disease, asthma and skin inflammations.

Mohammed would say:

It is interesting the way that all great religious leaders (Buddha, Mohammed, Jesus) have given detailed instructions to guide health ...

But for perhaps another time ...

Medicinal mushrooms - magic of nature?

Medicinal mushrooms, there are many that help to many types of diseases or for prevention of disease.

The most famous mushroom after the mushrooms is the shiitake mushroom. He is considered the second most commonly eaten mushroom.

In Japan it has long been used as medicine for stomach cancer for example.

He is known in Asia as the king of mushrooms. In addition, the blood lipid levels can be favorably influenced, so that to prevent atherosclerosis by protecting against deposits in the blood vessels.

The shiitake mushroom is also a nutrient-rich powerhouse, since it contains many vitamins the body needs to concentrate. It also contains lots of vitamin D, which in meat is available and this is needed for bone formation. Thus, the Shiitake mushroom is also a valuable alternative for vegetarians.

The effect of Medicinal Mushrooms achieve optimal, the mushrooms should be fresh and organically grown are consumed entirely just.

But where do you get a healing mushrooms?

These can be ordered on the Internet and that there is hardly a shop selling medicinal mushrooms. The reasons for this is that most medicinal mushrooms are still unknown and can be sold so bad either.

The shiitake mushroom does not count and can be purchased in stores. However, it is not sold as a cure, but as a delicacy. Few know that the penicillin (from the group of antibiotics), is also recovered from a "healing mushrooms".

Which is also an incentive to use medicinal mushrooms, the fact that it is a wholly biological remedies - and this is achieved without any side effects a cure.

However, should Medicinal Mushrooms for serious disorders should not be used without therapeutic advice.

Milk Thistle destroys lung cancer in mice

The active compound silibinin from milk thistle slows lung cancer in mice

So far, we know the milk thistle actually mainly just as a plant for various liver diseases liver . But the spectrum seems to be much larger.

In the University of Colorado Urethane mice were injected, which cause lung cancer. Following this treatment, one group of diseased mice silibinin, a substance which occurs in the milk thistle. The control group received normal food.

In animals fed with milk thistle, were significantly smaller tumors than individuals diagnosed.

Further analysis of this fact showed that silibinin the blood vessels that make the tumor shrink consumed, and thus prevent it from growing. After confirmation of this fact in a clinical study, a speedy deployment is expected in patients.

The findings suggest lung cancer patients who hope to be in at an early stage of the disease, because that silibinin can according to the tests for lung cancer but not cure, or prevent, but slow down or block it well.

If the finding further confirm the effect this would be not only in lung cancer research is a milestone, but finally a clearer recognition of the medicinal plants.

Black radish against acidity?

Most people in our modern society are more or less strongly acidifies - even if the reflected yet in severe diseases such as rheumatism, gout or indigestion.

This is because our modern life acidifying by many factors and food and beverages intended: unpleasant stress (distress), electromagnetic, coffee, alcohol, drugs and candy are all things that would be associated with a "acidity".

Oh yes - before once again a comment is as follows: "acidity does not exist" - please read again my article of " acidity - What you should know absolutely . "

What, then acidification to do with black radish?

So calm, meditation, a walk after a rain or even base-forming foods such as most (especially sharp or bitter tasting), vegetables, herbs or teas (often enjoyed in too small quantities), the many acidifying influences balance not often .

Here is an early semi-often and unfortunately in the last decades, too often neglected, winter vegetables into play: the black radish, and black winter radish (Raphanus sativus var niger) called. The round tuber has a rough exterior of white shell and black from the inside.

At first glance one might confuse the black radish with Roote beds. The black radish is a good base-formers, and should in my opinion, more are on the menu.

Black radish is also present in tablet or juice form. But why forego the re-discovery of this rare vegetables on the plate?

Also contribute to the freshly consumed black radish mustard oil glycosides also included among others, the local antiseptic and expectorant.

Hildegard von Bingen already pointed to the effect of black radish for coughs and "blood cleansing" through.

He also is a diuretic, gall-forming and (by the essential oils) act digestion - reason enough to bring it in recent years rediscovered vegetables not only because of the spicy taste more often to sit on the menu.
